Good to know

Inside the house, you’ll find a cute and comfortable place to relax and unwind after a busy day at the beach or exploring Pensacola. The kitchen is just inside on the left, fully stocked with all the things you’ll need. The coffee bar is full of goodies, so grab a cup and enjoy at one of the barstools! The dining area seats 6 and is a perfect place to gather at mealtime. The open floor plan lets you see all the way to the fenced in backyard and brand new pergola with bench seating! Or sit in the sectional and watch your favorite show on the Roku tv. The main bedroom off of the living area has a bright and comfortable king bed, nightstands with usb chargers, a large smart tv and a dresser to unpack. The large walk in closet has beach essentials you can borrow, like chairs and umbrellas. The en suite bathroom has a large soaking tub and spa goodies for you to use! The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, nightstands with chargers, a flatscreen tv , a closet, and a full length mirror. The third bedroom has a twin daybed with a twin trundle, a nightstand, a flatscreen tv, and a closet. The second bathroom is spacious and has a tub and shower and a linen closet. Neighborhood

Coral creek is a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in west Pensacola. There are Ponds where you can watch ducks, and it is easily accessible to perdido key! West Pensacola is easily accessible to several beaches, including Johnson’s Beach and Perdido Key. We are close to Ft Pickens, and just a few miles from NAS. even downtown Pensacola is easily accessible! There are plenty of places near the house to stock up for your trip. There’s a Walmart and a target less than a mile away, as well as Aldi, Sonic, Waffle House and more!

Great place, worth every dollar. Ted is a great host and easy to communicate with, and the house was everything we hoped it would be. If you’re looking to book a place that isn’t right on the beach then this is where you need to book.

We loved staying at Sunny Side Up for a month in February 2025! I will gladly stay there again if we are in Pensacola. The house is spotless and everything is in perfect working order. The decorations arebeachy, sunny and cheerful! We slept in the king bed which was very comfortable. The patio door of the living room leads to a private fenced in backyard with only mature trees behind the house. It was perfect for our two dogs and we were often out there in the day to sit in the sun and eat lunch or read. We also got to know the neighborhood a bit while we walked the dogs. The neighbors were friendly, including the children who were very polite. Groceries and sundries are close in Big Box stores and there are other grocery stores nearby too. Don't worry about beach equipment as the house is well stocked! Jessica and Ted are so helpful and responsive to questions. They have a guest book with lots of suggestions for local activities. During the week worked in the mornings, and explored the area in the afternoon. Two state parks are 10 minutes away. Tarklin Bayou Preserve has very nice and peaceful hiking trails, with access to the bay on the longer trail, and we walked there in the pine forest many times. Big Lagoon has a small beach and kayak/canoe rentals and the trails we took were sandy with coastal plants. We saw many coastal birds at Big Lagoon and on Perdido Key. The best beach on the key is Johnson's Beach, which is part of the National Park. The only buildings are the restrooms so it is lovely to walk on the beach without highrises behind you. We have a NP pass so visited many times. If you dont have a pass, you can buy a weekly pass. The state park on the Key also is undeveloped and would be good beaching location too. Also on the Key are several good resturants and the Flora Bama Bar, which features many bands playing all day and night. We went to downtown Pensacola to eat and purchased some local art from the Quayside Art Gallery, but the highlight of downtown Pensacola was the big Mardi Gras parade! You must also go to the Naval Air Museum that is on the base near the rental. Its free and we caught a 2 hour tour given by a retired airman that was fantastic! I think that late winter/early spring was an excellent time to visit this area as the temperatures are warm (at least for us Northernites) but not hot, the parks and beaches are not crowded, and we had no issues at all with bugs.

Great place to stay when in Pensacola! Right next to most grocery stores including target, Walmart, and an Aldi. Was also close to the beach with only a 14 minute drive! Would stay again if ever in the Pensacola area

Really great place! Stayed for 4 nights. Host was super friendly, communicative and polite. Quaint, comfortable, quiet neighborhood, private back yard. Very easy check in and out process. Laundry amenities were a great plus. (Thank you for having clean&clear detergents!!) Absolutely no complaints!

My family really enjoyed our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. Layout of the house gives a very spacious feel and the backyard is very welcoming! If you think you may need it, they have it! Very easy to communicate with Ted and have all questions answered. Would love to stay again whenever we find ourselves back in Pensacola.

we loved this space! this was our first beach trip as a family & this space was very centrally located to multiple different beaches. the fenced in backyard was the BEST because it allowed us to bring our family dog along for the trip. Ted was always very quick to respond and super helpful. would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely the best Airbnb experience I’ve had! The house everything we needed and more for our 3 night stay. Location was perfect for us having 3 little ones as they all had their own space and we loved the privacy of having the entire house to ourselves which made the stay convenient for us. Ted was always quick to respond and was extremely near with all instructions. 10 out of 10 recommended!!!

Excellent!!! Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. House was extremely clean and stocked with amenities such as games and basic hygiene. Location was central to stores and restaurants. Owner was in touch regularly. Highly recommended and would stay here again !
